A Proven Leader in
Industry & the Community
I was born, raised, and have lived in Macomb County for 50+ years. I currently live in Shelby Township with my wife of 33 years and together we have a 26-year-old daughter.
I recently retired, but during my career I worked in the automotive, defense, aviation and global supply chain industries at the management and then executive level. I worked for Ford Motor Co., Gulfstream Aviation and XPO Logistics.
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Tech U (’87) and a master’s degree in Engineering Management and Statistics from the University of Missouri (’90). I'm a graduate of the University of Virginia's, Darden School of Business, Executive Leadership program.
In my spare time, I focus on leading volunteer projects for children with special needs. Through the Lion’s Club, I led a project that built a special needs playground in Shelby’s River Bends Park. I led a project to install a teaching and working kitchen in the Play Place for Autistic Children in Sterling Heights, and I was Co-Project Manager building a raised vegetable and herb garden at Maggie’s Wigs for Kids in St. Clair Shores, which serves kids with cancer.
